Ingredients
3tbspolive oil
2clovesgarlicthinly sliced
1quartgreen beanstrimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces- about 3 cups
1tspsaltdivided
1pintcherry tomatoes halved- about 2 c
½cpitted kalamata oliveschopped
Instructions
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Add green beans and season with ½ tsp salt. Cook until they begin to soften, about 3 minutes.
Add the cherry tomatoes and remaining ½ tsp salt, and cook until the tomatoes start to burst and release their juices and the green beans are fully cooked, 5-7 minutes.
Stir in kalamata olives, and cook another minute or two until they are heated through. Taste and add more salt if needed.
